Take mini wooden craft spools and embroidery thread to create a special bracelet or necklace for a keen sewing friend.

“I stumbled on these wooden cotton reels on Ebay when I was looking for sewing themed dollhouse items. They are larger than twelfth scale and perfect for jewellery. To add some realism to the spools, I created end labels based on some real old cotton reels I had in my sewing box. Teamed with some little stitch-like connectors and a scissor clasp, they make the perfect gift for my sewing friend.”
